BIM Coordinator – Plant Expansion Project (Remote, Europe)
Location: Remote (must be based in Ireland/UK/EU)
Contract: 6–8 months (with possibility of extension)
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Are you a BIM specialist with strong MEP experience looking for your next high-profile contract? We're supporting a leading engineering contractor delivering a major plant expansion project in Belgium, and they are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join their team on a remote basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the digital delivery of a complex and technically challenging industrial project, with a contractor recognised for excellence across M&E, life sciences, and mission-critical sectors.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate BIM models across mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines
- Work closely with engineering and construction teams to ensure accurate model development
- Support design and delivery teams with clash detection, model reviews, and technical coordination
- Ensure BIM documentation and workflows meet project standards and industry best practice
- Manage model updates, revisions, and quality checks throughout project stages
- Collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve coordination issues
- Assist with as built and handover documentation as required
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator / BIM Technician on industrial, pharma, or mission-critical projects
- Strong capability with:
- Revit
- Navisworks
- BIM 360 / ACC Docs
- Solid understanding of MEP coordination
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering and site teams
- Familiarity with BIM standards (ISO19650 or similar)
Nice to have:
- Experience in life sciences / pharmaceutical or large industrial projects
- Dynamo, BIM Track, Revizto, or other advanced BIM tools experience
- Experience supporting remote engineering/delivery teams
