BIM Coordinator / BIM Technician – Contract | Hybrid | Dublin

Contract Duration: Freelance – long-term work
Rate: Competitive (DOE)

A leading international engineering contractor delivering large-scale data centre and pharmaceutical projects across Europe is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator / BIM Technician to join their expanding BIM & Digital Engineering team on a contract basis.

This organisation is known for delivering high-tech, mission-critical facilities, with project values regularly exceeding €100m. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative, innovative team working on some of the most complex MEP-led projects in Europe.

 

Role Overview

You will support the coordination, development and delivery of BIM models across major data centre and pharma projects. Working closely with mechanical, electrical and multi-discipline engineering teams, you will ensure accurate, fully coordinated BIM models are produced in line with project requirements and industry standards.

This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, offering long-term contract stability and exposure to international project delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality BIM models using Revit and Navisworks.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical services across multi-discipline teams.
  • Manage model updates, revisions, and clash detection workflows.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, design teams, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure BIM standards, protocols and project requirements are consistently followed.
  • Support digital engineering initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement across the BIM function.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Technician within the data centre or pharmaceutical sectors (essential).
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and relevant BIM workflows.
  • Excellent understanding of MEP coordination on large-scale, complex projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering and site delivery teams.
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Available to start January 2026.
