Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Berkshire

Come and work for an up and coming groundworks contractors’ brand new division!

This is a specialist groundworks and concrete frame contractor that works alongside tier 1 contractors as well as private clients within South-East England. They have won numerous awards within the industry such as ‘best subcontractor to work for’ and boast a high number of testimonials from existing clients. After having a successful 2017, they have had several prospective clients contact them for groundworks solutions west of the M25 and have opened a new division to focus on this portfolio of work. These projects are due to start on site in late January.

The role will see you managing this portfolio of work from a commercial perspective whilst working closely with the Contracts Director leading the schemes. The company’s Commercial Manager will also be working in the same office providing regular training and development as well as providing a helping hand on these projects if need be. All schemes are based on the NEC form of contract and range between £500k-10m in value. There will be regular meetings with clients in which you will attend on an ad-hoc basis with the Contracts Director.

The ideal Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have experience working for a specialist subcontractor and will display a professional manner and a driven attitude. A degree within Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
