Assistant Quantity Surveyor (heavy civils / infrastructure) - Berkshire

This market leading contractor requires an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team on an exciting and challenging major civils contract

The value of the contract will initially be £500m + and involve heavy civils and structures works, based from Reading.

The role will see you report into an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who will be managing key packages of work on the contract.  An important element of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor’s function will be to assist the Senior QS in their daily workload but to also manage your own packages of work. 

The duration on site will be approximately 4 years, with a further section of work being commenced following that.  The role will require the suitable Assistant Quantity Surveyor to have the following experience:

-Degree qualified or working towards, HND

-Minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally on NEC contracts

-Positive attitude to the way you deliver your work

-Able to work within a team environment

-Within 1 hours commute of Reading
