Assistant Planner - West Yorkshire

A massive civils company find themselves looking for an Assistant Planner for their emergency leakage department (water) in the Bradford Area. The company operate all over Britain in all utility sectors and with lots of work coming up, will find themselves expanding even further.

Someone with minor planning experience is required to come in and join the team. This company like to get people in at a basic level so they can train and develop them into the way that they like them to work. You would find yourself growing and improving your skills with the experience gathered as the contracts went on.

This role will consist of planning operational work on the public highway, including arranging traffic management, road closures and liaising with local highway authorities. Attention to detail is paramount to this role.

This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for a more challenging role working for a juggernaut of a utility contractor. Would be a great way to begin a long career in the planning side of things

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year as a planner or related discipline in the utility sector
  • Good travel distance of Bradford
  • Ability to pay keen attention to detail
  • Able to deal with stressful time frames
