We currently have a new fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner at Principal / Associate level to drive projects forward utilising your in-depth industry knowledge and leave a lasting positive legacy.

This company has an excellent reputation for providing transport planning services within the residential, high street and social infrastructure re-sectors and are currently expanding services to include master planning and place-making.  You will be leading a team of Transport Planners who are passionate about the environment, providing climate friendly solutions to modern transportation challenges.

The role involves undertaking both analytical work - such as trip generation, modelling, road safety audits, carbon footprint calculations to provide a solid basis for the proposal of any mitigation strategies and written work - Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Statements.  Communication skills are key when liaising with clients and stakeholders along with the ability to manage projects effectively (within time and budget) staying focussed on the end goal and overcoming obstacles as you progress.  The reward comes when developments are approved to the satisfaction of all stakeholders – especially when this happens first time round!  Working closely with the Director of Transport Planning, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to step into a senior role and help shape the future of the Transport Planning team.
