Working on the UK's largest infrastructure project at Euston Station (HS2), you will be part of a Joint Venture delivering the project, working with London Underground, Designers, Tier 2 Contractors and Third Parties to ensure the design and works are implemented as appropriate and sufficient for the requirements of the project. As the Temporary Works (TW) Design Engineer you will be part of the Temporary Works Department, assisting the Temporary Works Coordinator in the design process, review / supervision and checking of temporary works. In this role you will be undertaking the temporary works design for steel, reinforced concrete, timber, excavation support materials and excavation slope stability.

To be considered for this role the successful Design Engineer will ideally have the following background and experience:

• Demonstrable experience within a similar role within an appropriately sized engineering organisation in the Civils sector / on projects for infrastructure clients.
• Previous experience in the Rail / LU / TfL environment would be highly desirable
• Degree or higher level qualification in a numerate discipline typically  an engineering or related discipline.
• Membership of an appropriate Professional body (e.g. Institution of Civil Engineers)
