Technical Co-ordinator - London - C

Package* - Travel costs covered, 5% pension, bonuses available, laptop/company phone, 20-25 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays. 

There is an opportunity for a Technical Co-ordinator to work with a team of Engineers on the many tendered basement and pilling schemes in the pre-construction department.  As the Technical Coordinator you will be coordinating and overseeing the Temporary Works Designers.

As a Technical Coordinator this role presents the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and test your engineering background in an office based environment. This role will see you reporting in to the Pre-Construction Director.  

By joining this company you will gain experience of working with a Tier 2 contractor which is one of the most financially sound and one of the biggest RC frames and groundworks in the UK, they have over 30 year experience in providing civil engineering, groundworks, RC frames and demolition services. Over time you will also have the opportunity to move into the Technical Manager position where you can increase your earning potential!

As the Technical Coordinator, you will need to be demonstrate the ability to comfortability communicate with and work with Engineers and Structural Engineers, as well as having previous experience with ASTA.

Amongst other duties you will be required to:

• Produce outline method statement.
• Coordinate temporary works designers, produce temporary works briefs, produce sequence / pour layouts / logistics plans in PowerPoint ,
• Be able to use CAD, be able to read drawings and have some commercial understanding.

It would be advantageous to have an understanding of the following:

• Sheet piling
• Concrete piles – Bored piles / CFA piles / Secant piles / Rotary bored piles
• Bulk excavation
• Drainage
• RC substructure.
