This opportunity is for a Site Supervisor to join a well-known utilities contractor who have been awarded a long-term contract to work on fibre (FTTx) projects in Essex. 

Duties:

• Organise and supervise teams  putting duct in the ground
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety
• Conduct quality checks on work being carried out

Previous experience in a similar role is required and, ideally a background in fibre blowing and splicing.  What’s exciting about this role, in addition to the longevity of the works (up to two years) is that there is the opportunity to progress into a Project Manager role in the future.

A driving licence is required, as is a NRSWA Supervisor ticket and (ideally) SSSTS / SMSTS.
