Sub Agent - Buckinghamshire

Role: Sub Agent

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Package: Up to £70k + benefits (including stipend for living expenses if relocation is necessary)

• Are you a Sub Agent interested in working on the prestigious HS2 project?
• Do you have experience working on the construction of bridging structures or viaducts?

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
• Managing the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.
• Assisting with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is a key part of this role.
• Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control will also be your responsibility.
• You will also need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.

About You:

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• Must have experiences of working on either Structures, Highways, Utilities or Earthworks
• Good team skills
