Site Supervisor - London - (Greater)

One of the exciting things about this position is the opportunity to progress within the company into a Project Manager.

This is a superb opportunity to join an organisation that specialises in projects within the high voltage (HV) sector.  They have a long-term contract in place with UK Power Networks and require Site Supervisors in London to oversee cable laying.  The team has a proven record of successfully delivering power distribution projects and like to promote from within, so if your ambition is to become an HV Project Manager you can’t miss this opportunity!

Duties:

• Act as Site Supervisor for these HV projects
• Ensure work on all sites is run correctly in accordance with project scope, regulations (such as NRSWA) and health & safety
• Liaise with and oversee gangs, contractors, site agents and suppliers for material deliveries
• Liaise with Distribution Network Operator (DNO), Highways Agency and Local Authority
• Set up Traffic Management and ensure permits are in place
• Work closely with project co-ordinators to ensure successful completion of schemes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resourcing records
• Provide close support to Project Manager
• Tool box talks

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HV Supervisor or Civils Supervisor working on telecoms, utilities (including gas and water) or HV projects
• SSSTS, SMSTS or CSCS (beneficial)
• NRSWA
• Driving licence
