An up and coming specialist utilities contractor has recently secured a long-term framework contract within the gas sector. Due to this increase in workload, they require 2-3 Site Managers to join their organisation and manage between 3-4 sites each.
The role itself will entail overseeing the team leaders on site, completing appropriate paperwork such as risk assessments and method statements, and also putting your knowledge and experience to use on site. Something that makes this role distinctive is that every project is unique, and therefore creates more of a challenge than your typical framework contract.
As a company they have a strong family-type culture in which they share similar ambitions for company growth and individual development. This is evidenced by their promotional practice, which sees them promoting from within rather than recruiting externally. However, due to recent contract awards and a substantial increase in workload in this instance they have to recruit externally.
Required:
Civil engineering experience within utilities
Valid CSCS card
Valid SSSTS/SMSTS
Desired:
Degree qualified or equivalent
Experience within the gas sector
