Site Engineer - Bedfordshire

The Company:

This award-winning civil engineering contractor with well over 80 years of industry experience, who are able to undertake a number of high profile projects in both the UK and Ireland. They are a leading company in major infrastructure, commercial and industrial sector.

With a recently awarded heavy civils’ project based in Bedfordshire they are now looking for skilled Site Engineers to join the already established team, who provide and maintain the high quality of service.

Previous experience to include:

• Hands on experience within the infrastructure sector
• Strong RC frame, Groundworks, structures experience
• Provide practical technical assistance and advice
• Able to liaise with other professionals both internally and externally including Architects, Quantity surveyors, Engineers and Site Managers to ensure the smooth running of projects.

The ideal Site Engineer would have worked on “Energy from Waste” projects.

Skills required:

• Experienced Civil Engineer with solid site experience
• BTEC/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience working with design software packages including AutoCad
• Strong understanding of building codes, laws and regulations that may affect projects
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to recognise problems and deal with them quickly and effectively
• Client focused approach to service delivery
• Full clean driving licence

Salary and Benefits:

Up to £50,000 per annum (based on level of experience)
