Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer required for major Highways England Smart Motorways project

Previous relevant experience as a Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer is required as you need to hit the ground running from day one.  Previous high-speed / motorway experience is preferred though not essential. 

The usual Site Engineer duties and skills are required to be a success in this role, including:

-Health, Safety & Environmental knowledge

-Engineering Control knowledge

-Able to carry out complex setting out

-Able to resolve issues with control and information provided

You should also have:

-Strong knowledge of construction process in one or more of the following areas: Earthworks / Drainage, Pavements, Communications, Structures, Roadworks, etc.

-The ability to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately.

-Current driving license and CSCS Card, SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
