Freelance:  £375 per day Ltd

Based:  South East London (SE9)

About the Company:

• A medium sized rail contractor has built a strong reputation with the likes of Network Rail and London Underground
• Over the past 2 years they have gone through an expansion plan that has seem them secure key projects, as well as being put on NWR frameworks like CP6
• Directors and Senior Management are approachable and eager to support where necessary

About the Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor the role will see you support the Commercial Director and Business Unit Managers on projects from tender through to completion.  You will be responsible for all commercial and contractual matters over your portfolio of work.  The position will also incorporate bidding, where you will assist the estimating and operational team in developing bid submission.  As the company Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be able to support and develop the junior quantity surveyors in the team.

About You:

• Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work within a team environment
• 7 + years Quantity Surveyor experience
• Have rail experience
• HNC or Degree level qualification
• Good communicator
• Structured career history
• Able to take full commercial control over your own projects
• Ability to manage change, and understand key contractual issues that come with NEC
