Senior Quantity Surveyor - Rail - Norfolk

Exciting opportunity to work on a complex rail project!

An opportunity has become available to work on a £40m rail and construction contract in Norwich.  The project is a complex one as the works will be done whilst the site is still in operation, resulting in challenging logistical issues.

The client requires an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor capable of overseeing a key portion of the job, and with the ability to work independently, reporting into the Project Commercial lead.  The role will see you initially get involved in procurement to commercially set certain packages up, and then over the duration to ensure commercial control is kept in line with the financial targets.

The role will suit a quantity surveyor with a structured career history, strong NEC knowledge, ideally rail, although other civils sector experience will be fine.
