Are you looking for role as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on a HS2 project?

Do you want to work for a contractor that will give you autonomy and responsibility in managing a major portfolio of work?

Are you based within a good commute of Amersham?

This is a world leading organisation within their specialist engineering field!  They have secured a £200m contract to deliver key works on a major section of HS2, working independently but closely with the Joint Venture (JV) main contractors.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with the ability to manage the project over the course of the contract, working closely with the sector Commercial Director and Project Director to ensure their package of work is delivered within the commercial targets set.

The suitable Senior Quantity Surveyor will have experience in operating independently, along with working closely and confidently with Directors from the JV Board.  Over the course of the project you will be able to develop a small commercial team.

The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the following background and experience:

  • £50m + package or project management experience where you have also been commercially responsible 
  • Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye for detail for spotting commercial opportunity
  • NEC experience
  • Looking for a long term role
  • Need to have a structured career history
