Senior Quantity Surveyor HS2 - Buckinghamshire

Our client is a world leader within their specialist engineering field.  They have secured a £200m contract to deliver key works on a major section of HS2, working independently but closely with the Joint Venture (JV) main contractors.

They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will have the ability to manage the project over the course of the contract, working closely with the sector Commercial Director and Project Director to ensure their portion of work is delivered within the commercial targets set.

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will need to have experience in being able to operate independently, along with working closely and confidently with the Directors on the JV Board. Over the course of the project this role will see you to develop and mould a small commercial team.  In terms of the company, their reputation of looking after their employee’s is exceptional!

The desired criteria for the chosen Quantity Surveyor:

• £50m + package or project management experience being commercially responsible for
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• NEC experience
• Looking for a long term role
• Need to have a structured career history
