Senior Quantity Surveyor (HS2, Heavy Civils!)

Salary:  to £70k + package + bonus + living away allowance if required

Based:  South Northamptonshire, NN13

HS2 is in full swing and a delivery partner that has been awarded some of the largest and most complex works on the job has an exciting opening for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.

They require a dynamic and career minded Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of work that over its duration will amount to £100m. 

The role will see you initially manage a team of 3 Quantity Surveyors, ranging from assistant to intermediate level.  Over time that team could double and with that the level and responsibilities of your role too, so it’s an excellent opportunity for someone looking for career progression.  The projects themselves will range from heavy structures through to viaducts and total up to 30 schemes over the lifetime of the job.

Required Background:

• Ability to manage large, complex civils packages
• Excellent cost control ability
• Strong NEC and major infrastructure experience (in the UK)
• Worked on £100m+ projects
• Degree qualified or Chartered
• Strong reporting and contract administration skills
• Structured career history
