Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways - Kent

This leading highways contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a £50-70m per annum contract, seen as one of their key schemes undertaken within their portfolio.  Works will range from general maintenance through to project works which can range in values from £3 – 8m.

The role will mainly focus on post contract duties, reporting into the lead Commercial Manager, however the ability to do pre-construction would certainly de beneficial.  Daily duties will range from sub-contract procurement, take offs, package management, CVR’s, final accounts and change management / control.

The suitable Senior Quantity Surveyor will ideally have the following background:

- Highways or civils framework experience

- Excellent administration of NEC contracts

- Ability to work independently

- Good client interfacing skills

- Hard work ethic

- Proven track record in seeing contracts through to the end
