About the Company:

This is one of the world’s leading Piling and Ground Engineering contractors responsible for delivering some of the most iconic projects on Earth!  Their Southern Regional Commercial Lead is a highly experienced individual that has worked across 4 continents delivering projects up to £10bn. 

The Project:

A complex £25m Ground Engineering package on a major infrastructure rail project, involving large diameter piling and diaphragm walls, delivered within a compact and restricted working space that will have logistical challenges.

About the Role:

This role requires an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with the ability to take a project from inception through to final account, with a track record of that on complex civils projects.  There will be support if required but it’s a stand alone Quantity Surveyor role where you will be advising the Project Management and Engineering teams along with dealing with the main contractor.

About You:

• NEC Option E beneficial, if not option C
• Structured career history, this project will be over 2 years
• Client facing skills
• Ability to work independently
• Contractually astute and able to spot commercial opportunity
