This is an international company that specialise in major civil engineering projects all across the world and turnover a staggering £1.8bn in the UK and Ireland alone. They have worked on countless major civil projects including construction of terminals 2 and 5 at Heathrow Airport. They are currently working on another huge project that has been calculated to cost £9bn lasting until 2022 and need a Quantity Surveyor with experience in NEC forms of contract to come in and oversee commercial functions of tunnelling and platforms running across and beneath the Thames River.

Required:

• Strong NEC Experience Option C
• Civil Engineering Experience with an established Civils Contractor on £80m+ Projects
• Team Player
• Degree Qualified, Chartered or Equivalent
• Experience having responsibility on a project  

The opportunity is to join one of the largest projects of this decade and work with the Project Managing Staff to ensure the project runs smoothly and to time and budget as well as overseeing 1-2 Assistant Quantity Surveyors. Each platform is worth up to £70m, the Project Lead likes to allow everyone to gain experience on all aspects of the task over the 5 year period. The team has already been assembled and wants to introduce a Surveyor with a positive attitude to join them in overseeing commercial functions of the platforms and on the underground tunnels. Previous experience working on major civils project worth over £80m is advantageous, this role will present you with the opportunity to be a part of another that is such a feat of engineering.
