Senior Quantity Surveyor - London - N

A well respected family run business supplying the construction industry with structural steelwork and architectural metalwork have identified the opportunity to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor into the business. This company’s client base has been established for over 30 years. They offer opportunity and progression to those who work hard and want to excel.

They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of the construction/engineering sector and the successful professional will be responsible for the commercial running of projects from start to finish whilst promoting best practice and building excellent working relations with clients.

Whilst reporting to an experienced and devoted Commercial Director, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and build your own portfolio of work. With successful performance and looking at the company’s growth forecast, the opportunity to progress to Commercial Manager in just a few years is definitely attainable 

Required:

• Good knowledge of structural and architectural steel
• A good knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience and knowledge of various contracts including JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in Quantity Surveying
• Degree, qualified or equivalent

• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Ability to prioritise work under pressure
