Senior Quantity Surveyor - Berkshire

A large, Tier 1 contractor are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to head up a Joint Venture, Smart Motorways project on the M4. With an office in Reading, the works are to update the current M4 and turn it into a Smart Motorway running through towns like Wokingham, Maidenhead and Slough.

With a budget of up to £860m, Highways England plan to completely revamp the M4. With works already underway, the 32km stretch of road is to be widened in both directions as well as bridge works to be taken out.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the following:

• Good NEC Contract Experience
• Civils background with big project experience
• Able to manage many packages of work
• Ability to get straight in and make an impact
