Quantity Surveyor (Major Infrastructure & Tunnelling)

Salary:  to £50k + package

Based:  SE London (SE10)

About the Project:

One of London’s most prestigious major infrastructure projects is underway, and it requires a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join the team!

Its 1 of the 3 mega schemes underway in London that is going to involve major tunnelling and roadworks, incorporating exciting engineering techniques and delivered by a leading engineering JV with outstanding reputations in the UK and globally.

About the Role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take up a key role within the commercial department.  The packages of work, mostly all heavy civils incorporating tunnelling / piling / structures / new roads / major utility diversions will be £50m+ in value.  The suitable Quantity Surveyor will take commercial control over sections / packages, working within a commercial team and reporting into the Sector Commercial Manager.

About You:

• Heavy civils experience
• Ideally degree qualified or HND level
• Ability to work independently
• 3 years + post-graduation experience
• Good eye for detail and able to spot commercial opportunity
• Good client interfacing skills
• Have a structured career history
