Senior Quantity Surveyor (highways & civils framework)

Based:  SE London / flexible

• A key role has developed for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join this London market leader on a short term contract to assist on a important contract.
• The role will see you take over the project based work that will deliver in the region of £20m per annum.

The role will see you take on key commercial duties, supporting and working closely with the Commercial Director and Lead Divisional Contracts Manager on at times complex commercial issues and tasks.  Ultimately, as Senior Quantity Surveyor, the autonomy of the schemes will fall onto yourself.  Along with that, the position will see you take management responsibility, advising and directing in delivering on commercial targets and duties required for the projects division.  The duties will mainly be post contract.

Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a positive outlook in terms of how they deliver their work along with the following:

• Strong NEC experience in project or framework schemes
• Ability to mentor and manage junior members
• Structured career history
• Good eye for detail
•  Client interfacing skills
