Senior Quantity Surveyor - Oxfordshire

This is a large scaled Joint Venture (JV) consisting of two Tier 1 contractors, they won an equal portion of a £4 billion infrastructure re-design project in 2015 in the last AMP Period. With AMP6 being delivered to the satisfaction of the client, the contract has now been extended for the AMP7 period.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team on one side of the JV in order to help deliver the contract for the next 5 years. This role will see you covering the Thames Valley area (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire) so requires a fair amount of travelling.

This is very much a client facing role where you would be managing client expectations along with the management of sub-contractors and commercial teams.

Key Requirements:

• Degree Educated in relevant discipline, or equivalent (Essential)
• Experience in managing a range of different contracts and dealing with complex contract arrangements.
• NEC Contract experience
• Previous experience in the Civils Sector (Preferably Utilities/ Water)
• Experience in client facing roles
