Project Quantity Surveyor (Landscaping / Civils / Remediation)

Salary:  to £60k + package

Based:  Central London

The Company:

Relatively new to the UK market, but seen as one of Europe’s leading contractors in their field.  Uniquely operating mostly as a principle contractor, they are delivering some of the most prestigious contracts within the sector.  The companies skill set is specifically within the fields of hard & soft landscaping, remediation, earthworks and general civils to private clients, National Parks and large developers. Currently, their turnover levels exceed £120m with aims to reach £150m next financial year. Their areas of operation are located across the UK with London & the South East being a key region they are looking to focus on for 2019.

The Role:

Due to expansion and forecasted projects for 2019 and 2020, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee a portfolio of contract in London.  Working closely with the Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the schemes are delivered to the commercial forecasts and target set.  Dependant on previous experience, you will also play a key part in the development of the Assistant Quantity Surveyors in the team.  Previous experience in pricing / estimating on contracts would be beneficial but not essential.

The Ideal Individual:

• 5+ years experience in civils (main or sub-contracting)
• Strong client interfacing skills
• Commercially astute
• Structured career history
• Ideally BSc, MSc or HND
