“In a competitive market place where it’s hard to find a USP, we have an outstanding track record, not only for our level of quality but also for shaping the way our industry utilises new technology”
The Company:
A company with extensive experience in the demolition, groundworks and RC frame sectors that has focused over the years in continuously improving their services. In their time of incorporation they have seen their turnover rise to over £60m and have ambitions for this to further grow. They operate on a tall organisational structure so there is always room for progression for their employees and there is no sense of a ‘glass ceiling’. Their key focus going forward is to ensure that they provide the right opportunities for the people within the business to succeed.
The Role:
One of their divisions focuses only within the demolition sector. This is a new division for them, and the long-term idea is to secure the groundworks and RC frame packages of work of a project following successfully delivering the demolition. In order to ensure that the division runs successfully, they are keen to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work directly with the Head of Demolition and Group Commercial Director. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be overseeing a portfolio of work totalling to up to £12m in value. With successful performance, the long-term thought process is to promote the chosen Senior Quantity Surveyor to Commercial Manager and build a team around them within the next 1-2 years.
The Ideal Quantity Surveyor:
