Senior Quantity Surveyor (Rail) - London - N

Major Network Rail framework has been awarded to a key client of mine who require a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor:

The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor will be to support the Senior Commercial Manager to ensure this major, complex scheme is delivered within the financial targets set.  The package of work awarded to them is in the region of £450m.  The role will see you manage some of the complex packages of work, ranging oper scheme up to £15m.  the ability to mentor and oversee other Quantity Surveyors will be beneficial, although not essential.  You will ensure tight commercial control over the projects, working closely with the client.

The suitable candidate will ideally have the following background:

• Strong NEC experience
• Background in working on rail jobs (Network Rail or LUL)
• Ability to manage and oversee a team
• Excellent client interfacing skills
