Senior Quantity Surveyor (New Build) - East Sussex

Over the past 5 years this outstanding building contractor has developed a reputation of delivering an efficient, cost effective and value focused service on residential and mixed use projects.  Size of contracts range from £10 – 150m, located in London and the Home Counties.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.  You will be responsible for initially taking charge of a £85m mixed use project in Brighton City Centre, with 2 further projects coming on board that in total will involve the construction of 270 residential units in Brighton.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for another Quantity Surveyor and Assistant Quantity Surveyor while reporting into a Commercial Manager.  Key commercial tasks will involve procurement of Sub-Contract packages, contract management/administration of Sub-Contracts and management valuations/claims.

Ideally you will have the following experience:

• Be a Lead / Senior Quantity Surveyor on £50m + contracts
• Ability to develop into a role and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors
• Structured career history, showing progression
