Senior Quantity Surveyor (Highways) - West Midlands

This award winning contractor has secured a major smart highways project that is due to commence on site later this year.  There is a need to take on a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work closely with the commercial lead in setting the project up, then taking responsibility for running a key section of work.

Position:
You will report into the project commercial director. The role will see you take full commercial responsibility over your own portfolio of work, overseeing and managing key packages. Initial tasks will be to procure a number of packages and then ensure they are administered correctly.

Essential criteria:

Experience in highways or heavy civils schemes

NEC experience

Ability to work under your own direction and control

Long term team player

Ability to manage others

Desired criteria:

Degree qualified
