Senior Quantity Surveyor (Ground Engineering / heavy infrastructure) - Surrey

A market leader, known to deliver some of the most complex engineering projects in the UK, has a role for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The position will see you work closely with the project management and engineering teams, but at the Pre-Construction commercial phase.  As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be tasked with reviewing contracts, seeking out and evaluating contract risks along with identifying commercial gains on up and coming projects / tenders.  Over time you may be tasked with getting involved in post-contract duties, assisting the current project commercial and engineering teams.

The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is with a contractor with an excellent reputation in not only how they deliver their work, but also the friendly and supportive working environment that they have created within the company.

The position will suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor that enjoys the contractual review side, rather than the daily running of a project.  You will need to ideally be degree qualified with a structured career history and a good understanding of the NEC contract.
