Senior Quantity Surveyor (Engineering Consultancy) - London - C

Come and be part of one the world’s leading engineering consultancies, working on the most prestigious contracts being delivered in the UK!

The role will be to work within their cost consultancy division, focusing initially on rail schemes, with HS2 being a key focus as well as new LUL contracts.  Further projects include large infrastructure and aviation schemes.

The role will see you take a lead in conducting pre-construction commercial advice, working closely with government or large private sector stake holders.  Commercial tasks will involve feasibility studies, cost planning, managing procurement process and conducting post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.  You will undertake a key role in interfacing with the client and other consultants / contractors during varied project stages.  The role will suite someone looking at mentoring and leading junior members of the team.

The suitable candidate will ideally have the following experience:

• BSc / MSc and chartered (MRICS / MICES)
• Structured career history with either an engineering consultant or major contractor
• Long term team player
• Strong pre and post contract experience
