Senior Quantity Surveyor (Enabling Works, HS2)

Freelance:  to £400 per day Ltd

Based:  Central Birmingham

A key market leader within the specialist civils, ground engineering and enabling works sector requires a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The role will see you manage a complex £5m enabling works package, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the scheme is delivered within the commercial and timeframe targets. The scheme will be part of HS2, with further work to potentially follow on from that.

Ideally you will have the following experience and background:

• Strong NEC background
• Ability to fully commercial manage your own package
• Able to work independently
• Commercially astute, able to find opportunity within a contract
• Strong client interfacing skills
• Structured career history with an established specialist or main contractor
