Senior Quantity Surveyor (Change Manager / Rail) - South Yorkshire

Do you enjoy pricing up and agreeing Change?

Have you got a strong background in working on rail or major infrastructure projects?

Do you enjoy mentoring junior / less experienced quantity surveyors?

If yes, then a leading civils contractor has an exciting role to work on a JV that will bring more effective, faster and cleaner travel to rail routes along the North East of the UK.  The actual projects that will be constructed will range from OLE, complex structures and major substations.

They seek an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Change Manager who will play a key role in pricing 9-10 major changes on the project.  Alongside this, you play an important role in supporting a commercial team of varying levels, offering guidance and advice. 

The position will suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with the following experience:

- Strong background in rail / civil infrastructure

- Extensive Change Management experience

- Able to manage a team

- Confident in your ability

- Effective communicator (verbal and written)

- Good decision making skills
