This company, an extremely successful, busy and growing rail contractor with over 70 years in existence and a turnover of more than £500m have seen significant growth in their order book and turnover over the last year.

For one of their flagship projects in the rail sector they require a Senior P6 Planner to support the delivery staff in completing the project to scope, within cost and on time.

In this role you can expect to produce status, performance and resource data for inclusion in weekly and monthly reports whilst also ensuring the delivery of site possessions, blockades, isolations and protections.

Working on a railway station project the successful Primavera P6 Planner will ideally have the following background and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role within an appropriately sized engineering firm in the Civils sector / on projects for infrastructure clients.
  • Previous experience with a contractor in the Rail / Station environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Degree or higher level qualification in a numerate discipline typically an engineering, surveying mining or construction.
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have or are working towards a Chartered Membership.

In return the company offer a highly competitive salary in the region of £70,000 and package (including pension and realistic bonus scheme)
