Coming with over 100 years’ experience of supporting Clients in the civil engineering and construction sectors this Main Contractor holds Safety, Quality and Competency in the highest regard, due to additional workloads they are looking to strengthen their engineering team by recruiting a Senior Engineer to work in their busy and fast paced Rail business unit initially working on a Station Redevelopment scheme in Exeter.

Working across a range of civil engineering works associated with Network Rail infrastructures including renewals, bridge reconstruction/replacement, upgrades & refurbishments, station works, platform extensions you will be responsible for supporting the management team in the effective delivery of the project.

To be considered for this role the successful Senior Engineer will ideally have the following background and experience:

• Substantial experience of carrying out Site Engineer duties in the rail sector including surveying and setting out.
• Ideally degree or higher level qualification in an engineering discipline
• Membership of an appropriate Professional body, ideally a Chartered member of the Institute of Civil Engineering or hold an equivalent professional status
• Hold a valid PTS card
• Structured career history
