2 experienced Senior Engineers (highways & civils construction) required for an up-coming prestigious major highways construction project.

Got a successful track record of delivery on previous UK highways construction projects?
Initially based from a central Birmingham office (15 mins walk from train station), you will be working on a major highways project that forms part of the massive programme of civils and highways works in preparation for Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
This is your chance to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to work with a UK civils and highways sector “major player” along with all the benefits that come with that (ie. long term contract opportunities, prestigious projects, great team, etc).
You will be working within the project team to assist in the project delivery to time, cost and quality requirements.
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Taking the lead in highways construction engineering matters related to the project
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers to construct the works safely and on programme
To be a success on this project you will need a ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ attitude, along with good communication skills to direct site staff to push the project forward in a collaborative and trusted environment.
Previous relevant civils or highways projects experience is required (managing on-site teams, engineers, foreman, etc) along with relevant UK industry qualifications and up-to-date Health & Safety compliance procedures and working knowledge of construction techniques and contract law relevant to construction contracts.
