The Company

A Joint Venture (JV) between two of Britain’s biggest heavyweight contractors in the Utility Sector. Originally awarded a £500 Million Thames Water contract to deliver planned, essential and reactive operational support on the Thames Water networks including repairs and maintenance for the initial period of 5 years from 2015 (AMP6). The works are to continue into AMP7 (2020 – 2025) for another period and there is even an option for further works into the AMP8 period. Works are expected to reach beyond the £1 Billion mark.

The Role

These works require a Senior Contracts Manager to come in and deliver a portion of works on the backend of the AMP6 contract which ends in April. The portion of the works comes in at around £10 - £15 Million and you would find yourself managing a number of different teams. Being able to manage these teams effectively whilst dealing client side is vital to this role. After the current period has finished in April, you will find yourself embarking upon the AMP7 contract.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Contracts Manager (Over 10 Years)
• NEC Contract Knowledge
• Utilities background (Water, Gas, Energy etc)
• NEBOSH National Certificate (preferred) or equivalent qualification
