Senior Building Surveyor - London - S

£26-£34 per hour - Building Survey - Surveying

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor to join the planned works team working for a well-known registered social landlord.

The role is working as a Senior Surveyor and will be paying £26 - £34 for 6 months with the likelihood of this being extended.

The duties include

Managing a planned works programme which would include contract managing planned cyclical capital works
Overseeing a small team of Surveyors ensuring that they are working as efficiently as possible making sure KPI’s are kept to
Inspecting contractors works is kept to the highest possible standard and ensuring that value for money is obtained
Inputting data and adhering to organisational compliance
Preparing specifications of work, tendering process and pricing works from schedules of rates

Essentials

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience working within a public sector organisation
To have worked as a Project Manager or Building Surveyor
To have experience in management before
Experience of handling budgets of up to £2m and of working with general public
