This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team, delivering a wide variety of improvement schemes by commissioning and managing external consultants. Typical schemes will include upgrading existing buildings to comply with fire regulations which will involve strong project and contract management skills. Communication skills are essential as the appointed Surveyor will be dealing with a diverse group of stakeholders.

The ideal Senior Building Surveyor will have knowledge of construction process from preparing scope and specification of works, the full planning process including building control, familiar with standard forms of contract and controlling budgets. A knowledge of the Regulation Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 would be a distinct advantage. Ideally be chartered or working towards full corporate membership of the RICS.
