A vacancy has arisen for a Planned Maintenance Building Surveyor to work at a senior level working within this Local Authority. This is an exciting opportunity working for an authority who do not often have vacancies.
The role is a contract position, initially for the duration of 3-6 months, with the likelihood of this being extended.
Your duties will include:
Carrying out pre-inspections on housing stock, managing a kitchen and bathroom replacement programme
Handling and dealing with complaints in a professional manner
Undertaking post inspections of completed works, assessing quality and value for money using the schedule of rates
Ensuring the effective contract management of the planned maintenance contracts with a strong emphasis on partnering contracts
To be considered for this role:
Previous experience working within a public sector organisation.
You should have experience of handling budgets of up to £2million and of working with the general public
A full, valid driving license and own transport is essential for this role
