Senior Building Surveyor (Disrepair) - Essex

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Building Surveyor to work within a specialist team within a social housing provider. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking organisation that are known for offering progression and a professional working environment. The role is initially for 3 months with the likelihood of this being extended.  

As Senior Building Surveyor you will:

Provide a building pathology assessment of defects to specify and rectify faults

Monitor and manage building services contracts, ensuring disrepair service is lawful

Deliver professional surveys, prepare schedules and tender reports, providing recommendations on any contract specification documents

Represent the client in court as required, making recommendations on findings

Produce documents and record data in regards to disrepair cases

Essential criteria:

You will have experience working within a public sector organisation, preferably with a number of relevant years’ experience.

To have worked as a Legal Disrepair Surveyor

A full, valid driving license and own transport is essential for this role
