Does joining a contractor with a lengthy track record of delivering specialised work sound good?

Could you be a key part of an expanding organisation?

Do you feel you could be doing more & are ready to progress your career?

The Company you will joining as a Reinstatement Planner:

This company have a long standing reputation in their sector. Whilst being around for almost 25 years, with an annual turnover consistently over £50 million for the past few years, the reputation garnered by them in the highways and reinstatement sectors really does put them in the specialist contractor category. With a key model in place for expansion and with them winning a prestigious contract recently, the sky is the limit here and it may well be the perfect time to get on board with them.

The Role:

A Reinstatement Planner is needed to ensure these contracts are scheduled and programmed to aid in their delivery under the company processes. You will need to be organised and pro-active to be able to ensure operatives receive daily work in good time to reduce set-backs. This would tie in with the minding of fines and penalties that would be received for non-completed or overrun works.

Duties:

  • Plan daily works for operatives
  • Plan works effectively to avoid fines and penalties
  • Prioritise planned works to accommodate emergency situations/ maintenance
  • Liaising with gangs and their managers throughout the day
  • Ensure contractors have the relevant inductions and PPE to work on the contract safely
  • Make sure the sites are maintained in compliance with the current NRSWA requirements and ensure sites are cleared after closure

Ideal Qualities for the chosen Planner:

  • Experience in Ontrack Software (Desired)
  • Experience in reading and analysing databases
  • Experience in planning and assessment
  • Well organised
  • Attention to Detail
