I am looking for a Rail Project Manager to come and join a growing rail contractor in Birmingham. They have secured a strong pipeline of work within a commutable distance from Birmingham and are looking for a Project Manager to successfully lead and manage these schemes.

The Project Manager will be joining a motivated and hard-working team. This is a role that would appeal to an individual with a “go getter” mentality. This is an excellent opportunity for a Rail Project Manager to be a part of delivering on high profile projects with full autonomy. Alongside this, the role will see you as part of a well-structured and strong commercial and operational team

The right Project Manager will need the following skills in order to be selected:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or any other construction field.

• PTS

• CSCS

• Experience of managing and developing a team

• Demonstrable experience of working in an established project management environment

• Proven experience in delivering projects to the desired outcomes and within quality, time and costs limits

• Preparation of project related documents e.g. reports, instructions, specifications, tenders etc.

• Knowledge of project management control systems and GRIP 1 to 8
