About the Company:
Having been around for 30 years, this excellent medium civils rail contractor has built a strong reputation with the likes of Network Rail and London Underground. Over the past 2 years they have gone through an expansion plan that has seem them secure key projects, as well as being put on NWR frameworks like CP6, due to this they now have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. You will be joining a company where the Directors and Senior Management are approachable and eager to support where necessary. Ultimately this contractor retains a family friendly feel to the way they operate.
About the Role:
The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a strong eye for detail and have the ability to take a project from inception to completion. The role will see you support the Project Management and Engineering teams, offering input and guidance to ensure projects are delivered to the commercial targets set. The role will involve monthly reporting, forecasting, sub-contract procurement on projects. You will work across the commercial team, from bidding through to project control and final account.
