Quantity Surveyor (HS2 / Heavy Infrastructure)

Salary:  to £50k + package

Based:  Central London

If you are a Quantity Surveyor interested in working on the UK's LARGEST infrastructure project HS2 then this opportunity is PERFECT for you!  

A major global player within the infrastructure sector has been awarded one of the most prestigious HS2 packages of work. The work will see them deliver market-leading and complex engineering solutions for the London sections of work, linking up with Euston Station.

In order to deliver this project, which is being done under a Joint Venture, they require a Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role to ensure financial forecasts and targets are met. 

Reporting into a Section Commercial Manager Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing some of the most important packages of work on the project.  These packages can range in value from £5m – 45m.  Dependant on the size of the package, you may oversee / assist in 1 large scheme or oversee 2-3 smaller ones.

The client is looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with the following background:

• Infrastructure project experience
• NEC experience
• Package management experience
• Degree qualified or HND
• Structured career history
• Rail would be beneficial, but happy to consider other major civils experience
• Looking for a long term career move
