With a network of 60 UK offices and a turnover of 4.5bn, they offer national coverage and now have an opening for a Quantity Surveyor to join their office in Surrey.

Description of the role:

The role of Quantity Surveyor will see you take responsibility for implementing the commercial activities for the Core Highways Maintenance Contract for Surrey County Council. Your main focus will be to ensure that the projects are completed within budget, enhancing value for money whilst still achieving the required standard and quality.

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Highways maintenance experience
• Must have a working knowledge of main forms of contract including contract documents for highway works and method of measurement for Highway Works.
• Understanding of procurement practices and forms of main and sub contract.
• Commercially astute
