This Quantity Surveyor opportunity is for a sharp, confident, outgoing individual who wants to manage a portfolio of up to 4 projects for a major contractor in the industry. They are a well respected specialist contractor, who carry out remediation works in addition to other works in the UK, based in Surrey. As the Quantity Surveyor, the role will see you manage the commercial functions of the current projects, ensuring ground is ready to be constructed on and will play a pivotal role in getting projects completed on time and to a budget.

This contractor holds a prestigious position in the market from their demolition background and have opened up several new divisions, where they have been hugely successful, hence why they are looking to expand their commercial team. Due to this success they also offer fantastic opportunities within the business to grow and develop your career. The ideal Quantity Surveyor would have a degree in Quantity Surveying, NEC experience within the groundworks or remediation sector from either a sub or main contractor background with no more than 6 years’ experience.

Required:

• Structured career history
• 3 – 6 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Groundworks or Remediation experience
• NEC forms of contract experience
• Confident approach to work
